The new CX-Speech MP3 is an enhanced version of the CX-Speech and hase been specifically designed to plug into the Dewhurst CX-Basic Serial Encoder Board.
Through dedicated inputs on the encoder it provides facilities for floor identification, door opening, door closing, direction of travel as well as warning and information announcements.
The CX-Speech Module has been specifically designed to plug into the Dewhurst CX-Basic Serial Encoder Board. Through dedicated inputs on the encoder it provides facilities for floor identification, door opening, door closing, direction of travel as well as warning and information announcements. There is a large vocabulary of English phrases that will cover the majority of requirements. However, custom phrases can be accommodated.
The CX-Speech announcements provide clear information to lift users and are of particular importance to blind and partially sighted people for applications requiring compliance to Lift and Building Regulations.
The Encoder Card CX-Synchro is designed to be used in conjunction with serial controlled display units and the CX-Basic encoder board. The CX-Synchro board plugs into the CX-Basic board to add either 16 additional inputs, serial synchronisation port, or LCD display (plus pushbuttons) to allow on site settings of encoder. The encoder has a serial communication port, used to connect to other CX-Synchro card to synchronise the real time clocks when LCD displays are being used. It also accepts signals like floor position code, as well as lift status signals like
MAINTENANCE, OVERLOAD, OUT OF ORDER etc. through the additional 16 optoisolated inputs. The signals are then transmitted through SER1 of the CX-Basic board, which is a 4-wire serial communication link, to all the display units connected to it.
The Serial Encoder Card CX-Basic is designed to be used in conjunction with serial controlled display units. The encoder has serial communication ports, SER1, SER2 and USB port and is installed in the lift machine room, next to the lift controller. It accepts signals like floor position code, directional arrows as well as lift status signals like MAINTENANCE, OVERLOAD, OUT OF ORDER etc. through 24 optoisolated inputs. The signals are then transmitted through SER1, which is a 4-wire serial communication link, to all the display units connected to it.
The SM018 Speech Module has been specifically designed to plug into the Dewhurst CH024 or CH034 Serial Encoder Board. Through dedicated inputs on the encoder it provides facilities for floor identification, door opening, door closing, direction of travel as well as warning and information announcements. There is a large vocabulary of English phrases that will cover the majority of requirements. However, custom phrases can be accommodated. The SM018 announcements provide clear information to lift users and are of particular importance to blind and partially sighted people for applications requiring compliance to Lift and Building Regulations.
The Serial Encoder Card CH024 is designed to be used in conjunction with serial controlled display units. The encoder has serial communication port, SER1 and SER2 and is installed in the lift machine room, next to the lift controller. It accepts signals like floor position code, directional arrows as well as lift status signals like MAINTENANCE, OVERLOAD, OUT OF ORDER etc. through 24 optoisolated inputs.
